Terms of Service
MarginBolt is workflow software that helps contractor teams follow up open estimates, capture signed change orders, and move overdue invoices forward. It is not legal, accounting, tax, or collection-agency advice.
Plans and billing
The Free plan covers up to 3 active items. Paid plans (Solo, Crew, Pro) are billed monthly through Stripe and grant higher active-item limits, team access, and additional controls. Entitlements are granted after a verified billing event; you can view your current plan in account settings.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancel anytime from account settings — cancellation stops future billing and is separate from data deletion. Refund requests made within 14 days of a charge are reviewed for billing errors or a clear technical failure. Email hello@marginbolt.com.
Acceptable use
Do not use MarginBolt for unlawful purposes, to abuse other users, or to attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the service.
Your data
You own the estimates, change orders, and invoice records you enter. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle it.
Liability
MarginBolt is provided as-is without warranty of uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, MarginBolt is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the product.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
